Welcome To Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary School Assumption BVM Catholic School is a Middle States Accredited K-8 school in the Diocese of Allentown, Pennsylvania. ABVM School remains as the only Pre K - 8 Catholic school serving families in the Schuylkill County region. We are a regional school, governed by a board of pastors from The Church of St. Patrick, St. John the Baptist, Holy Family of Minersville, Most Blessed Trinity, Holy Cross, St. Clare of Assisi, and St. Ambrose.

Assumption BVM School strives to promote the academic, physical, moral, social, and spiritual development of our students so that they may serve God by serving others. We encourage our children to be the hands and feet of Christ, not only in their school community but also in their other communities.

Our dedicated faculty and staff, optimal class sizes, and spirit of service to others impacts our students and families in a positive light. We encourage our families to take an active role in the school and have a number of volunteer opportunities available.
