Saint Clair Area School District provides the lunches for Assumption BVM School. Lunch prices will increase to $3.50 per meal which includes milk. Free and reduced lunch prices will not change. All lunch money must be paid on a Monday of each week. Lunch envelopes will remain the same. Our counts must be accurate and our payments must be on time to fulfill our financial obligations to our new vendor. Please be patient as we embark on this new healthy lunch program.

Addendum to attendance policy in handbook
Handbook Addendum: Attendance Policy
A portion of our Attendance Policy was unintentionally omitted from the online version of the handbook. We apologize for this oversight. Please refer to the information below for future reference, as it is in full accordance with Diocesan policy.
Regular and punctual attendance is mandatory. If a student is absent, they must make up all missed work to the teacher's satisfaction within the same number of days as the days absent (e.g., absent one day = one day to make up the work). If a student is absent from school, the Diocese of Allentown and Assumption BVM School require that a parent or guardian report the absence by 8:30 am to the office of the principal, to the administrative assistant, or to the classroom teacher. To ensure the safety of the children, the Administrative Assistant will call home to verify an absence if the school has not received a call or email.
Students must present a written excuse signed by the parent or guardian explaining the reason for the absence. If a written note is not brought in within three days, the absence will be documented as unexcused on the student's permanent record. A student must present a doctor's note upon his or her return to school after any contagious illness or after three or more consecutive days of absence.
To ensure students have continuity of instruction, the maximum opportunity for participation, and master all concepts necessary for future learning, regular attendance is necessary. Students who have 15 absences will be required to submit doctor's notes for each subsequent absence.
Students missing more than 20 days of school will be required to make up the absences during the summer at Assumption BVM School.
After more than 25 days of absence, the student will be required to repeat the grade level.
